What should be the purpose of AIDC 100?

For the foreseeable future, we intend to offer a forum where anyone can ask any question (hopefully it will be AIDC related) and the membership of AIDC 100 (and others) can provide a response. So to get this started, I will ask the question: What should be the purpose of AIDC 100? Should we do things like this autoid.org blog. Have an "old farts meeting" once a year? Conduct seminars? Write a book? Go quietly into the night?
