Bar Code FundamentalsAnatomy of a bar code:
Bars and Spaces reflect light (spaces) or the absence of light (bars) back to the scanner.
A set of modules or elements of varying widths represent data. The smallest module is called the x-dimension and is the fundamental key to the overall size of the bar code symbol and how it is scanned.
